Step 1: Contact Us

Reach out through our Contact Page or give us a call to let us know you’re interested in adopting a boxer puppy. We’ll answer your questions, explain availability, and help you understand if a boxer is the right fit for your lifestyle.

Step 2: Join Our Waiting List

Because boxers are a high-demand breed, many of our puppies are reserved before they’re even born. We recommend joining our waiting list by leaving a deposit to secure your place in line for the next available litter.

Step 3: Choose Your Puppy

When the puppies are old enough, we’ll share photos, updates, and personality notes to help you choose the best match for your family. We also welcome visits or virtual calls so you can meet the puppies before making a decision.

Step 4: Puppy Preparation

Before going to their new homes (at around 8–10 weeks old), every Perdigao boxer puppy receives:
✔ Veterinary health checks
✔ Vaccinations and deworming
✔ Early socialization and basic training
✔ Starter care information to help you transition smoothly

Step 5: Adoption Day

On adoption day, you’ll pick up your puppy (or arrange delivery if needed). We’ll provide a puppy pack with health records, food samples, and tips to help your boxer adjust to their new home.

Step 6: Lifetime Support

Our relationship doesn’t end when you take your puppy home. We offer ongoing support for training, nutrition, and general care. At Perdigao, you become part of our extended boxer family.

Adoption Requirements – What We Look For in a Boxer Home

At Perdigao Boxers, we want every puppy to thrive in their new environment. Before adoption, we ask families to make sure they can meet the needs of this loving, energetic breed.

✅ Adoption Checklist

• Age Requirement
  Owners must be 18 years or older to adopt a Boxer puppy.

• Safe Living Space
  Boxers thrive in homes with enough space to run and play. A secure yard or access to outdoor areas is strongly recommended.

• Time & Attention
  Vizslas are known as “Velcro dogs” because they crave human connection. They should not be left alone for long hours — owners must be prepared to give daily attention, love, and companionship.

• Exercise Commitment
  Boxers

• Financial Responsibility
  Adopters must be prepared for the ongoing costs of food, vet care, training, and other pet needs.

• Willingness to Train
  Boxers are intelligent and eager to please, but require consistent, positive reinforcement training. Families should be ready to commit to early obedience training and socialization.

• Lifetime Commitment
  A Boxers average lifespan is 12–14 years. We expect adopters to provide a forever home filled with love and stability.
